Description
The Duckbill DTS provides a fast, professional solution for stabilizing newly planted or vulnerable trees without using stakes. Each kit contains 3 Duckbill earth anchors with a 13′ galvanized cable, 3 tree collars, and 6 clamps. The anchors are easy and efficient to install into soil with a hammer or drive tool. They then lock in place when the cable is tensioned. An upward pull on anchors rotates duckbill into a load-lock position approximately 15° from horizontal. Further tension causes anchor to plane sideways through undisturbed soil, increasing holding power. Ideal for trees up to 6″ in diameter and holds up to 1,100 lbs in normal soil.
