For an Air-Cooled VW Engine Type 1 1600 Dual Port Beetle, Bus, Thing, Buggy

This is is a new, open box kit.

This VW Sump Plate Kit offers 3.5 extra quarts of oil to keep your Air-Cooled engine running strong. Without a radiator the oil works as both a lubricant and coolant stressing it more. When you purchase other performance parts for your engine do not forget this. Includes all hardware and tubes for 1200cc-1600cc engines. All 3 VW oil screens fit this.

Oil Sump Plate Kits will not fit aluminum engine cases without clearancing. Aluminum engine cases have additional ribbing and material that original VW magnesium cases do not have. As such, expect that you have to grind down some of the sump plate or the engine case to fit the sump to the aluminum engine case.
